Each year, Roper Gulf Regional Council celebrates the achievements and contributions of members of our communities through the Citizen of the Year Awards.

The Citizen of the Year Awards acknowledge the unsung heroes of our community who, through their contributions and achievements, make our region a better place. These individuals and organisations offer outstanding service each day and enable our communities to be stronger as a result of their tireless efforts.

This year we have taken a different approach by organising the awards for the entire Roper Gulf region, uniting all our communities in a collective celebration of excellence. By doing so, we emphasise the importance of regional solidarity and collaboration, acknowledging that the achievements of one community resonate throughout the entire region. Therefore, there will be one regional winner for each Award category.
