Roper Gulf Regional Council is responsible for delivering a wide range of municipal services to our communities. Municipal Services (MUNS) teams are located throughout the region and undertake services that are critical to maintaining local communities.
Municipal Services
- The maintenance of roads and paths within communities and the management of traffic within the communities
- The upkeep of parks, sporting facilities and ovals and other open spaces within the communities
- Regular removal of rubbish and litter
- Cleaning of public facilities including toilets and playground equipment
- Maintenance of the cemeteries including digging graves as required
- Establishing firebreaks within and around communities and community infrastructure
- Management of weeds and feral animals
- Delivering an animal control program, including managing domestic pets and feral animals
