The Big Rivers Football League Presentation night was held last night, with Deputy Mayor of the Roper Gulf Region, Helen Lee, taking home the volunteer of the year award. This award recognises the hard work and dedication of a individual to their club.
Helen is the main reason why the Arnhem Crows are in the Big Rivers Football League. She fought hard to get the team back into the competition, she always makes sure the men have transport into Katherine for games, and that the team have everything they need to succeed. She also sponsors the best on ground awards each week to ensure that players are encouraged to return to play.
A well deserved award for a hard working and committed individual.
