Roper Gulf Region, NT – Roper Gulf Regional Council (RGRC) is now accepting applications for Round 2 of the Community Grants Program for the 2024-2025 financial year.
In the past three years, four rounds of the Program have been held (two per financial year), resulting in 30 projects brought to life thanks to over $138,151 in funding granted to individuals, associations, groups, and organisations. These initiatives have positively impacted communities across the Roper Gulf region.
Round 2 of the Program for this financial year has a total of $51,000 in funding available, with grants of up to $5,000 each designed to support initiatives that address local needs and contribute to the overall wellbeing, culture, reconciliation, and quality of life in the territory.
This funding will help foster projects that benefit the residents of the region, improving community cohesion and enhancing local experiences.
How to Apply
Community members are encouraged to apply for funding through one of the following methods:
• Online: Complete the application form here (sent directly to our Grants Coordinator).
• Email: Submit your application to grants.ropergulf@ropergulf.nt.gov.au
• By Post: Send your application to Roper Gulf Regional Council, PO Box 1321, Katherine NT 0851.
• In Person: Drop off your application at 2 Crawford Street, Katherine, NT 0850.
Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted by Wednesday, 30th April 2025 by 2 pm.
