Roper Gulf Regional Council would like to thank and congratulate Johnny Daniels, who has been employed with us for 14 years as a Municipal Officer in Ngukurr.
Since Johnny commenced his employment with Council in September 2008, he has been an integral part of the Municipal team and the Ngukurr community. His role includes maintenance of roads and paths, upkeep of parks, ovals and public spaces, regular removal of rubbish, cleaning public facilities, maintenance of cemeteries, management of weeds and animals and more.
Johnny has also completed various trainings for his role including Transport, Handling and Storing of Chemicals, Infrastructure Work Preparation and other mandatory trainings.
Yesterday at the Ngukurr Local Authority meeting, Johnny was presented with an award by the Chief Executive Officer Marc Gardner and Roper Area Manager John Terepo for his 14 years of service with the Council, and counting!
Johnny is a very motivated and hard working staff member and Council appreciates his efforts for the Ngukurr community and wider Roper Gulf region!
