Roper Gulf Regional Council is recruiting for a Recycling & Waste Officer to join our Council Services team in Borroloola.
The Recycling & Waste Officer supports the Council's waste management and recycling work in Borroloola. The role provides on-site customer service at the Borroloola recycling centre and processes products for transport or disposal. Duties include counting, crushing and baling cans and bottles, completing recycling paperwork, doing daily maintenance checks on plant and equipment, collecting litter and hazardous material, and safely operating Council vehicles and plant.
This is an RJED-funded position. Applicants must:
- be Australian citizens or permanent visa holders living in a RAES region
- not currently be in full-time employment
- be a RAES participant, be eligible for RAES, or be aged 15–24.

Salary & Benefits:
- Level 2: $57,644.80 to $63,276.43 per annum (pro rata for hours worked), plus leave loading
- Permanent Full Time, 38 hours per week
