Borroloola Recycling Centre

Works have been scheduled to construct a recycling centre in Borroloola. This project aligns with Roper Gulf Regional Council's strategic goal to foster growing jobs and industries, and to develop clean and environmentally focused communities.

Update:

The Borroloola Recycling Centre is now complete, Occupancy was given on the 11^th December 2025. The project consisted of the shed construction of the new recycling centre including power, water and sewerage upgrades to the site. The new building consists of WHS features such as emergency shower and eye wash to ensure safety of staff when carrying out duties associated with recycling cans and bottles.
