Roper Gulf Regional Council Announces Successful Community Grants for Round 1, 2023-2024

Roper Gulf Regional Council is delighted to announce the recipients of the successful community grants for Round 1 of the 2023-2024 grant cycle totalling an amount of $25,906.10.

These grants, a testament to Council’s commitment to fostering community well-being and development, will empower several organisations and individuals to bring positive change to our region.

Roper Gulf Regional Council believes in the transformative power of community projects, and these initiatives will undoubtedly have a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.

To assist families to attend the annual minicamp visit to Darwin for 3 nights.

To take families out of the community to Mataranka and Katherine to participate in community events.

To host a Halloween Community Event in Mataranka for all local children.

These projects were chosen for their potential to enrich the lives of residents in our region, from improving safety to providing opportunities for education and community engagement.
