Five candidates have been announced for the Roper Gulf Regional Council, Never Never Ward by-election.

Candidates are as follows (in ballot paper order):

  1. Edna Prescilla ILES
  2. William JOHN
  3. Naomi WILFRED
  4. Cecilia LAKE
  5. Virginya BOON

Important information for Never Never Ward residents. Voting will be available at the following locations:

  • Minyerri – Tuesday 3 October 2023 – 10:30am to 4pm
  • Jilkminggan (Council Office) – Wednesday 4 October 2023 – 10:30am to 6pm
  • Mataranka (Community Hall) – Thursday 5 October 2023– 10:30am to 6pm

People who are enrolled in the Roper Gulf Regional Council, Never Never Ward must vote.

If you are unable to vote on the dates listed above you can visit the NT Electoral Commission Office in Darwin from Monday 2 October - Thursday 5 October or apply for a postal vote.
