Round three of Roper Gulf Regional Council’s 2020-21 Community Grants Program is now open.
The Community Grants Program supports individuals and organisations that strengthen the social, cultural, economic, or ecological vitality of the region.
Applications are being sought for community projects within the Roper Gulf Local Government area that support:
- Local events and activities
- Economic Development or
- The physical and natural environment
Applicants can apply for a minor grant up to $1,000 for smaller projects and a major grant of up to $3,000 for larger projects.
“Council’s Community Grants Program has been able to help many individuals and organisations within the region to run events, sporting competitions, support tourism or purchase valuable resources for their community” said Judy MacFarlane, Mayor of Roper Gulf Regional Council.
“That’s what these grants are all about, providing opportunities for local people”.

To apply for a grant, please complete the Community Grants Application Form available for download on our website and email it to grants.ropergulf@ropergulf.nt.gov.au.
This round of applications will close on 11 April 2021 at 11:59pm.
