Municipal Services

Roper Gulf Regional Council is responsible for delivering a wide range of municipal services to our communities. Municipal Services (MUNS) teams are located throughout the region and undertake services that are critical to maintaining local communities.

The maintenance of roads and paths within communities and the management of traffic within the communities
The upkeep of parks, sporting facilities and ovals and other open spaces within the communities
Regular removal of rubbish and litter
Cleaning of public facilities including toilets and playground equipment
Maintenance of the cemeteries including digging graves as required
Establishing firebreaks within and around communities and community infrastructure
Management of weeds and feral animals
Delivering an animal control program, including managing domestic pets and feral animals
