Council Services Manager (12-Months Contract)

Roper Gulf Regional Council is seeking an experienced and community-focused Council Services Manager to lead the delivery of Council services in Beswick. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in remote communities while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As the Council Services Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of all Council services in Beswick, including municipal services, community safety, aged care and disability services, youth and recreation services, administration services and contracts. You'll lead and develop your team through performance reviews and training plans, manage Council's financial and physical assets including plant, equipment, buildings and vehicles, and ensure all services are delivered in line with statutory requirements, budgets and funding guidelines. You will also organise and take part in Local Authority meetings, provide regular advice to the Operations Manager on Council's Strategic and Operational Plans, and build strong working relationships with community members, external stakeholders and Council staff.

This is a Temporary, Full-time position for 12 months, based in Beswick, NT.

Base Salary: $119,829.98 - $131,895.07 (depending on experience)

You must hold a valid working with children card (Ochre Card), a current NT "C" and "LR" Class Drivers Licence with manual driving capacity, and complete a national police check application form to undergo a national police check prior to commencement of employment.
