Last week our Animal Program Manager/Vet nurse Kay spent the week working with the fabulous East Arnhem Vet team in Gapuwiyak as a learning exchange between our neighbouring Councils.
Kay explained “This was an amazing experience, I learnt a lot and picked up some great tips from the team. The challenges we face are very similar but what is clear to me is that our programs, and the contribution they make to community health and well-being, are highly valued by residents in the communities we work in.”
A huge thankyou to the East Arnhem Council management for the go ahead, and of course to Program Manager Dr Maddy, Nurse Sarah, and Dr Kathleen for so generously sharing your knowledge and making Kay feel so welcomed.
We look forward to the team spending time with us in our region next year!
