Sport and Recreation Supervisor

The Community Safety business unit is responsible for delivering funded programs including Community Safety Patrol (Night Patrol), Outside School Hours Care, Sport and Recreation, Alcohol and Other Drugs Education, Youth Reconnect, Indigenous Broadcasting and Libraries. 

The primary purpose of the Sport and Recreation Supervisor is to be responsible for effectively organising and implementing the sport and recreation program at the designated community and maintaining the facilities, equipment and resources associated with the program. This is done in liaison with the Community Safety Coordinator and the Community Safety Officers - Sport and Recreation. 

This is a temporary, full time position until 31 May 2023 (Maternity Leave Replacement).

Salary

Level 4 indicative $62,958.47 to $69,177.78 per annum based on 38 hours per week (negotiated based on qualifications and experience)

Location

Borroloola is in the South West Gulf Ward. It is situated on the eastern coast of the Northern Territory in the Gulf of the Carpentaria and on the banks of the McArthur River. Borroloola is 670 kilometres east-south-east of Katherine.
