The Community Safety business unit is responsible for delivering funded programs including Community Safety Patrol (Night Patrol), Outside School Hours Care, Sport and Recreation, Alcohol and Other Drugs Education, Youth Reconnect, Indigenous Broadcasting and Libraries.
The primary purpose of the Community Safety Administration Officer is to provide efficient and confidential administrative support across all facets of the Community Safety business unit, and to contribute to the effective delivery of the Community Safety program within the division of Community Services and Engagement.
This is a fixed term, full time position until 30 June 2024 (with possibility of extension).
Salary
Level 4/5 indicative $62,958.47 to $77,867.96 per annum based on 38 hours per week (negotiated based on qualifications and experience)
Location
There is flexibility for this position to be based either in Katherine or Mataranka.
