Tenders and Public Quotations

Learn about how Council manages the procurement of goods and services. View our selection process and find out how to apply.

Roper Gulf Regional Council may obtain goods and services though a tendering process, whereby suppliers are invited to submit bids to provide the products required. Click here to learn more about the tender process.

Tenders are evaluated fairly using weighted assessment by a panel. Criteria for consideration may include:

  • Price competitiveness;
  • Demonstrated professional integrity and capacity to deliver on the tender;
  • Commitment to Work Health and Safety; and
  • Commitment to local content (suppliers, materials).

All current public requests for tenders are listed on the LocalBuy and TenderLink websites to streamline procurement processes. Suppliers wishing to do business with Roper Gulf Regional Council are encouraged to register with these websites to receive tender opportunities.
