Roper Gulf Regional Council is thrilled to be bringing the magic of the 2017 NT Writers’ Festival to residents of Borroloola by livestreaming day one of the event via a Satellite Session on Saturday, May 20.
Local Governments across the Top End are joining forces with the NT Writers’ Centre to showcase all things creative during the festival, with Satellite Sessions allowing those living in remote areas the opportunity to participate in the fun from Alice Springs.
The Satellite Session will hosted by the Council’s Community Services team at the Borroloola Library from 9.15am until 5.15pm, and it’s absolutely free to attend.
As a special treat, a Borroloola book – Gulf Country Songbook: Yanyuwa, Marra, Garrwa and Gudanji Songs – will feature in the festival spotlight at 3pm.
To participate in the live Q&A, SMS your questions, beginning with your name and location, to 0475 918 400.
