Under the Northern Territory Local Government Act, Roper Gulf Regional Council is required to produce a number of plans and reports, all of which are accessible to members of the public. These plans and reports are:
Roper Gulf Regional Council’s Budget is created on a consultative basis and aims to address the needs of residents and ratepayers, and the programs delivered under the Council’s direction.
Formerly known the Shire Plan, Roper Gulf Regional Council’s Regional Plan is a document, created annually, that outlines the prioritised activities, projects, intended service levels, funding information and financial policies of the Council for the following financial year.
Roper Gulf Regional Council’s Annual Report summarises the activities and performance of the Council each financial year against the main objectives, strategies and targets of its Strategic Plan.
Roper Gulf Regional Council’s Strategic Plan is a four-year document that sets the goals and direction of the Council’s future activities.
Roper Gulf Regional Council’s Green Plan is a four-year document that details the Council’s environmental priorities and sustainability strategies.
Sport and Recreation Facilities Master Plan
Roper Gulf Regional Council’s Sport and Recreation Facilities Master Plan guides the planning, management and provision of sport and recreation facilities across the region, and was created after extensive consultation with stakeholders and community groups.
