Have you had your say on Roper Gulf Regional Council’s Draft 2018-21 Strategic Plan?
The colourful, new-look plan lays out the four goals the Council believes are critical to delivering its vision of a sustainable, viable and vibrant future for both the organisation and residents, and specifies the outcomes that will contribute to the achievement of this aim.
These goals represent the core of what the Council is about – robust governance, providing safe, strong communities, protecting the physical environment of our Local Government Area, and supporting training, employment and economic development opportunities for remote stakeholders.
In accordance with section 24(2)(c) of the Local Government Act, the draft plan will be open for public comment for 21 days from January 2, 2018 until January 23, 2018. All residents, ratepayers and stakeholders are urged to visit their nearest Council office, or the website, to view the draft plan and provide feedback.
Comment can be made by emailing the Council’s Governance Unit. For more information, call the Council’s Manager Governance and Corporate Planning on 08 8972 9005.
